Join us at Groundworks Art Lab's Date Night! Our instructors will get you set up and working together on potters' wheels for a few hours of dirt and fun.

Make a piece, we'll glaze and fire your favorite one, then give you a call when it's ready in about four weeks.

For any additional pieces you would like glazed and fired, there is a $5 fee per piece.

It's good to wear some clothes you can get dirty and shorter nails will be helpful. :)

Each participant will need their own registration to participate.

Hearts - like glass - are prone to both melting and breaking. That's why Groundworks Art Lab's Glass Studio is the best spot for a Date Night! Bring your sweetheart, your sibling, a pal, or just yourself for this beginner-friendly class and fall in love with a new hobby. The projects and tools will vary from week to week, so you may find yourself making a set of custom glass coasters, or a fused glass suncatcher; you may even find yourself melting and reforming glass by hand with a little flame-working! No matter what the project, this class will shatter your date's expectations and you'll come away with a hand-made art piece you can cherish.

Please come dressed in close-toe and heel shoes, and natural material clothing, i.e. cotton or linen, long pants are recommended.No loose or dangling jewelry, long earrings or scarves.If you have long hair, please have it securely tied back from your face.We will provide safety goggles, but if you have your own and would like to bring them, please do!

Two hearts melt into one in this partner blacksmithing project. You and your partner (romantic or platonic) will each shape one half of a heart and bend them together to make a heart-shaped trivet. In addition to making a cute piece of kitchenware, we'll cover shop safety, tools and equipment, and techniques such as tapering, fullering and working with a striker.

Single on Valentine's Day? Come find love (of pottery) at Groundworks Art Lab! Join us solo or bring a pal to Groundworks' first every Singles Night - the best part, no one will be trying to reenact that one scene from Ghost :)

This class is similar to our Date Nights in set-up only - our instructors will offer a brief wheel-throwing demo and get you going on throwing. You make a piece a piece or two and our staff will take it from there, trimming and glazing your fave. We'll send you an email when it's all done being fired (about 4 weeks typically). Any additional pieces you would like glazed and fired will have a $5 fee per piece.

Clay is about as messy as your last break up (kidding!), so it's good to wear some clothes you can get dirty in, and shorter nails are always helpful on the wheel.

Bring a Bestie, your Bae, or even your Baba for a night of creating. Our instructor will get you set up on a project for a few hours of ink and fun. You will try your hand at carving a piece of linoleum, mixing and rolling ink, and making a successful print. There will be an instructor demo and hands-on assistance, so all you have to do is show up.*Don't forget to wear or bring clothes you don't mind getting inky! Fabric ink will not wash out.

Dinner and a movie starting to feel flat as a board? The Wood Studio at Groundworks Art Lab is now offering Date Nights, and we wood love to help you out! Bring your sweetheart, your sibling, a pal, or just yourself for this beginner-friendly class and fall in love with a new hobby. The projects and tools will vary from week to week, so you may find yourself making a hand-carved wooden spoon, or turning a sweet lil' honey dipper on one of our lathes. No matter what, you better beleaf that you'll have a great time and come away with a small piece that you can cherish.
