Join us at Groundworks Art Lab's Date Night! Our instructors will get you set up and working together on potters' wheels for a few hours of dirt and fun.

Make a piece, we'll glaze and fire your favorite one, then give you a call when it's ready in about four weeks.

For any additional pieces you would like glazed and fired, there is a $5 fee per piece.

It's good to wear some clothes you can get dirty and shorter nails will be helpful. :)

Each participant will need their own registration to participate.

⁃ Date Night tickets are non-refundable. If you need to change or reschedule your reservation, please do so by 5:00pm on the Monday before your scheduled Date Night. No transfers are allowed after 5:00pm on the Monday prior to your Date Night.

⁃ Registrations are not transferable to another person. If you would like to purchase a class on someone’s behalf, the intended registratrant’s information must be provided at the time of registration.

Bring a little bling to your next fancy dinner party by hand-forging a pair of one-of-a-kind leaf-shaped napkin rings. This class will spend a little time going over shop safety, tools and equipment, and techniques such as tapering, bending, and hot chiseling.

Bring a Bestie, your Bae, or even your Baba for a night of creating. Our instructor will get you set up on a project for a few hours of ink and fun. You will try your hand at monotype printing by mixing and rolling ink, and learning the process to make three unique prints. Participants are encouraged to bring their own flower or piece of foliage to print with! Anyone with a passion for nature and the arts is encouraged to join! *Don't forget to wear or bring clothes you don't mind getting inky! Fabric ink will not wash out.

Two hearts melt into one in this partner blacksmithing project. You and your partner (romantic or platonic) will each shape one half of a heart and bend them together to make a heart-shaped trivet. Bring your significant person, spouse or friend, and join us to create prints with Lego. We'll provide type high Lego bases 20 x 20 studs wide. This is where the fun begins! With a collection of different shapes and curves of Lego tile pieces, create your printable design. We'll then lock up the Lego bases in the Vandercook letterpress and print keepsake prints! Students will each take home 5 prints of their master Lego work! Depending on class size we can trade prints, or work with a second color if time permits. Come play with Legos and get inky on date night!
