Do you have a vintage book with a cool cover that needs a second chance at life? Joing Greg Robl and Brenda Gallagher and learn how to turn an old book into a new journal or sketchbook. Join Greg Robl and Brenda Gallagher as we take covers from a book headed to the recycling bin, and bind new signatures of fresh pages inside! Soon your vintage book will have a new purpose in protecting your very own journal. It acts as a clever disguise for secret writings as well! Students will learn how to dis-bind an old book and reinforce the old case. Most books will need to have newly created spines formed from book cloth. Then new pages will be prepared to fit the old case, a new bookblock will be sewn and cased into the vintage covers. To make sure everyone has a chance to refuel, we've scheduled a lunch break. Packing a lunch is recommended.

Ages: 16+ 

All supplies and materials will be provided.
