Calendar Aug 25, 2026 at 4:30 pm, runs for 4 weeks

Ages: 9 - 12

Why should adults have all the fun? This class will spend four weeks going over low-fire glassworking techniques like kiln fusing, coldworking (working with unheated glass), mosaic, and more! The projects will be simple and may vary depending on the material and technique being covered that week.

This class has no prerequisites and is specifically set up for absolute beginners to this art form. Our Glass Studio does have some safety basics that must be met before anyone is allowed to join in the fun (failure to meet these requirements will result in not being granted access to the equipment):

  • Please come dressed in closed-toe and closed-heel shoes, and natural material clothing, i.e. cotton or linen; long pants are recommended
  • No loose or dangling jewelry, long earrings, or scarves.
  • If you have long hair, please have it securely tied back from your face.
  • We will provide safety goggles, but if you have your own and would like to bring them, please do!

Ages: 9 - 12

All supplies and materials will be provided during class.

This class is Pay What You Can with a suggested price of $150.

No youth or family classes the week of March 16 for Spring Break.

with Codey Davis

Calendar Aug 26, 2026 at 9 am, runs for 8 weeks

In this new crossover class, we’re going to learn how to go from ceramic molds to fused glass bowls. The first 4 weeks will be spent in the clay studio. We’ll cover the basics of throwing both slump and hump molds on the wheel. Once our molds are bisqued, we’ll test their shapes using them to hand-build bowls.

The last 4 weeks will be in the glass studio. We’ll cover the basics of fusing and grinding before starting our final project - creating a fused piece to drape and slump into our molds.

Since the class will move quickly between the two studios, wheel experience is required. Beginner glass students welcome!

This class does NOT come with open lab time. All work must be completed during class.

Ages: 16+

All supplies will be provided.

Class will be available for registration Monday, July 27 at 8am.

No, this isn’t a spell that you can cast in Dungeons & Dragons - it’s so much cooler (well, hotter, actually). This introductory four-week class will teach you how to use a torch to sculpt and manipulate hot glass into beads, small figurines, and other exciting creations.

Come learn and explore the basics of using and caring for the equipment, glass color and all of the steps of prepping, shaping, and finishing heated glass with hand tools. If you’re looking for a fun, entry-level class to start your glassworking journey, look no further!
