Welcome to Quick Print! These one-time classes offer students a crash course in one specific type of print without the commitment of a multi-week course. Perfect for beginners, experimenters, or anyone looking for a fun way to learn a new skill fast!

Did you know that you can create prints without ever getting ink on your hands? Embossing is a simple form of printmaking that utilizes nothing more than good lighting to create beautiful imagery with delicate shadows.

In this class, we will use an etching press to practice the techniques of blind (without ink), embossing (raised), and debossing (indented) printmaking. You’ll get to experiment using found objects and cutting shapes into matboard to create a beautiful and unique print on fine cotton printmaking paper.

Ages: 16+ 

All supplies and materials will be provided.
